Seta Apparel is a high-end fashion brand from Medellin, Colombia. The vision was brought to life by sisters Eliana and Andrea Salazar after inheriting a passion for fashion from their grandmother who was a fashionista, and their mother who is a fashion designer.
The grandmother, Ligia Zapata, always traveled back and forth from Miami to New York. She always returned with new clothing to Colombia consisting of vintage pieces and patterns.
The mother, Maria Eugenia, is the creative genius behind it all ensuring the quality meets the brand’s standards. She is a constant role model and fashion mentor.
Co-founder Eliana handles all the operational aspects of the company such as dealing with customers and logistics, but also shares her fashion sense by providing styling tips.
Co-founder Andrea is behind all the creative direction of the brand. She ensures that the concept remains consistent and that the brand is constantly keeping up with the latest fashion trends.
Growing up, the sisters were well connected with the entire family who were always very involved in the fashion industry. They looked up to their mother from a very young age.
When they got older, with their much obvious dome for creating amazing outfits, they got asked to help other’s style. Many people trusted their style taste on what to wear and when, and how to accessorize it.
Family is one of the biggest driving forces of Seta. As a matter of fact, the name Seta is derived from combining both of their family’s names
